I’ve lived within 25 miles of this area in the countryside. It’s very quiet here, everyone is friendly and the area is beautiful, it’s green and very welcoming in the village particularly. The village has got a lot of things considering how small it is. It has a Post Office, a local shop, a beautiful pub, it’s very well-equipped for such a little place. The pub offers very good, high-end food, people come and visit from miles around. As for the lodges, people are very surprised when they walk in, they can’t believe how big, well -equipped and beautiful they are. A lot of people say how much nicer it is than their own home. It’s very rare when we are not 75% booked at least. A lot of people are wanting to do lodge holidays so it’s more and more popular. What I like about the park is that you don’t have to walk far before you feel like you are away from it all, there is plenty of countryside. We have a lovely little café, it does home cooked traditional food, but sometimes with a twist, it’s a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere in there. The café is open from Wednesday to Sunday.
You are within reaching distance of most places, you are not far from the motorways, you are not far from the coast and Beverley is a lovely town to visit as is a nice village called Cottingham, where there is also a golf course. On the park we have the Café and Bistro serving amazing food and also serves alcohol. The homes are stunning, a lot of them are really really roomy, you’ve got different sizes and they are all well-equipped and the hot tubs are a great bonus. There is a handful of really good restaurants in Beverley and also some in Cottingham, also Indian and Chinese food. There are also villages in the surrounding area that offer really good food and also the local pub is only 2 minutes walk away with high quality and well-priced food. I love to get out with the dog on a Sunday, there is Beverley Westwood only a short drive away about 10-15 minutes and it’s a vast amount of land and forest with cows grazing there and there is also a golf course. It’s lovely to take a picnic there on a Sunday.
